Hello and Welcome

My name is Kat. I am a Pen and Ink Artist, Gouache learner and Creative Enthusiast.

My artistic journey started back in 2015 after having a passionate discussion with my husband about having talent vs learned skills on how to draw. I was, of course, defending the idea that having skill and a willingness to draw is more important than having talent, and to prove the point, I started to learn how to draw myself. Very quickly I discovered a passion for drawing with pen and ink, and many years later, I still love it.

I can confidently say now that “I am not talented; I am SKILLED. In fact, I am MULTI-skilled!”

I am passionate about learning, especially sharing my knowledge with others, and am always looking for new skills to explore. I believe the more you know, the more opportunities you have for creative expression.

My aim is to inspire and motivate you as well as encourage you to explore the possibilities without inhibitions.
